Krishna Pillai - Founder & CTO
Krishna Pillai has over seventeen years of management experience including technology projects and operations ranging from $1 million to $10 million. He has been involved in the successful delivery of large IT projects for Fortune 500 clients with a track record of completion on schedule and within budget. He has effectively managed cross-functional teams from different departments to collaborate and work together. Krishna has significant experience in implementing project controls and risk mitigation strategies.
For the last ten years he has been working on leveraging technology to solve business problems for the enterprise and defining IT system procedures and frameworks. Krishna was the CTO of httprint, a commercial print e-procurement Application Services Provider and services company. During his tenure at httprint, he was responsible for architecting and developing the company's core application based on a distributed component architecture, building up the entire IT department that spanned two continents, and defining the strategy, leadership and direction of software development and the technical team. Krishna has also worked at Accenture, Oracle, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs where his responsibilities included assessing business cases for IT projects, managing risks, and providing technical and business assistance to technology teams, and developing and managing alliances with vendors and business partners.
Krishna has a BS in EE from Birla Institute of Technology & Science in India, a MS in Computer Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and an MBA from Columbia University.
Mickey Breen - President
Mickey has been in the finance industry for 18 years. Prior to joining Convergent, Mickey worked for JP Morgan Chase as a senior loan consultant after it acquired Cornerstone Mortgage Capital. Prior to Cornerstone he was with First Security Loan Corporation, Pacific Guarantee and Metro Commerce Bank.
Mickey has successfully raised equities for the company and will continue to do so for the future growth of the company.
Mickey attended University of San Francisco and is married with two children. Mickey has also been a volunteer fireman in Sonoma for the last 13 years.
Mike Medeiros – Vice President, Corporate Development
Mike Medeiros is a fourth generation family member of a well-established farming family known for their leadership in the industries of dairy and viticulture in the beautiful Sonoma Valley.
Mike joined Convergent to manage all aspects of Convergent Mobile's line of products and future business development.
Mike also enjoys giving back to his community as a volunteer fire Captain with a fire department that was started by his great grandfather.
Mike has a BS and a minor in Business from Cal State, Chico.
Tom Conery - Vice President, Finance
Prior to Convergent, Tom was the CFO for Innovative Cold Storage, Inc. Tom's responsibilities included overall start-up of the company from initial planning and development to construction, business development, budget, finance and information and inventory control system. Tom spent an additional 12 years in the banking and information technology sectors with Alltel Corporation and Imperial Bank. With Alltel Corporation (formerly Systematics, Inc.), Tom initially provided bank conversion and outsourcing support, financial analysis and was the Director of Operations for their Check Processing operations. As Vice President at Imperial Bank, Tom was responsible for multi-bank outsourcing operations, providing leadership to a staff of 150+ and a budget in excess of $10 million. Tom's achievement includes the successful implementation of a "first" generation image based check processing system. Tom has a BS from San Diego State University.
