Will Convergent Mobile's InstaTour™ work on all mobile phones?
Yes, InstaTour™ text messages can be received by all text-enabled phones. The mobile subscriber must have a mobile web package to access the detailed property listing and photos. In 2007, 109 million US mobile users sent text messages and over 43 million US mobile customers visited mobile web site content regularly (+30% growth from prior year).
Should an agent call a prospect when they receive the text with the prospective buyer's contact information?
Convergent Mobile highly recommends an agent first respond with an auto-generated text message.This lets an agent establish a connection and offer their assistance while a prospect's interest is high, and respect their sense of privacy. The auto response feature is included in the Premium InstaTour™ package.
Do prospective buyers need to opt-in?
Yes, but they will have done so by choosing to send a text message to receive property information.
Is reporting available?
Yes, activity reporting by listing is available through Convergent Mobile's online customer service platform.
Can I order sign riders with InstaTour™ text IDs from Convergent?
Yes, a customer service representative will assist in orders and handle the details. Pricing is based upon quantity ordered. And remember, sign riders are reusable.
What defines a lead destination?
A single text or email address that an agent or broker desires their text leads to be delivered to constitute one lead destination point. If Agent Smith wants leads sent to both his email and phone then he has chosen two lead destinations. A Broker or group of agents may decide to direct text leads to only one centralized place (not recommended) or to arrange for the individual agent to receive the text leads on their phone or email with a "copy" sent to a centralized office email address (recommended).
Do mobile users need to download software to take advantage of InstaTour™?
No. Convergent Mobile believes that the need to download software would impede most prospective buyers from using a mobile marketing information source.
